The True Reason Why Some People Lack Common Sense | MT

There's a core point in the life of every man alive that forms his "intelligence."

Built in our unique ways, we habour (or rather, bear) our amazing differences from one another.

So why is it that you have a conversation with someone and feel like you just met an "idiot" who lacks common sense?

The answer is very simple - you don't look at the world from the perspectives of others.

The reverse is often the case and I'll tell you how.

Imagine this scenario, your child walks up to you crying and refusing to be consoled, the first thing would be to ask, then if you get no answer, scold the child.

But what if your child just saw a dead body and didn't know how to tell you that?

You assumed the child has no reason to cry, because you made a conclusion from what you understood, not what the child understands.

This is the same thing that happens when we have conversations with people and say they "lack common sense."

99% of the time when we judge others, we barely hear them out.

While you might be correct for the 1%, what happens to the large 99% persons you label as "not having common sense"?

The wise man is careful not to call someone a lesser specie until such person has proven so, consistently, over time.

If you can take a moment and think about what people say before judging them, maybe we'd arrive at a real definition of who they are.

Real quick before you leave, I built a community dedicated to target one out of 700,000 people who commit suicide every single year, and may goal is simple - turn hopeless people into people of hope.

We'll interact, share our problems, encourage each other, and build worthwhile missions to save other people who have lost hope to live.
